How do you reset the ID code on a BMW CC?

- Turn the ignition on.
- Dismiss or wait for all warning and failure messages to disappear.
- Use left stalk to navigate to “CHECK” submenu.
- Press BC button on the left stalk and hold it pressed for 5 seconds.
- Release the button when BMW CC-ID codes appear on the bottom display.

i would go to ‘check control’, scroll to the flat tire icon, then hold the button to reset. apparently the correct way is to just RTFM lol. with the car parked, just scroll to the flat tire icon and it’ll say “reset” underneath, once you do that it’ll clear the icon out.

How do I fix CC-ID 71?
Re: CC-ID 71 – Brake pad wear sensor problem. Try disconnecting the battery for a few hours, reconnect and try resetting it again. This worked for me.
