How do I select my seat on Thalys?
When selecting your train, you can click on “Seating preference” and indicate the place or type of seat you’d like to get assigned to. It is not possible to change your seat after your booking has been completed.
What does Club 2 mean on Thalys?
“Club-4” and “Club-2” are the names for table seating in Comfort 1 (first-class) cars. Normal seat pairs are called “Duo” seats. These women share a table in Comfort 2, or second class.
What is Thalys square seating?
‘Carre’ or ‘square’ means a bay of 4 seats around a table. ‘Besides’ (sometimes shown as ‘dual side by side’ or ‘duo’) means two seats side by side, facing the seat back of the seats ahead.

Carre is regular side-by-side seats. I know carré and côte à côte (side by side) are two different types of seasting as I always buy côte-à-côte. As to Kiosque, since it was a new word for train seats for me I searched and found above : 17-seat compartment.
What is the difference between comfort and premium on Thalys?
There will be Standard, Comfort (the existing first class seating but without complimentary catering) and Premium (first class with complimentary catering). Thalys adopts airline-style pricing.
What is the difference between first and second class on Thalys?
The one major difference between first and second class is meal service at your seat. Not all first class reservations offer a meal service, yet it can be expected on premier operators such as Eurostar, Thalys, and Lyria.
Do you get food in Thalys?
Thalys offers complimentary food and drinks to passengers travelling in their first class called Comfort 1. However while a proper and rather decent three courses meal is served at lunch and dinner times only a rather uninspiring cold snack is served on train services at other times during the day.
