How do I become a certified hazmat technician?
To be eligible for the course, the student must:
- Have a requirement or responsibility to serve as a technician-level HAZMAT responder;
- Complete PER-322 Hazardous Materials Operations or NFPA 472-conformant state or jurisdiction operations level hazardous materials training;
- Complete independent study IS-100.
