How do I accept financial aid as a college teacher?
Ensure that you are completing the “Direct PLUS Loan Application for Graduate/Professional Students”, not the Parent Borrowers option. Select the award year and authorize Teachers College to use your Direct PLUS Loan to pay for educational charges.
What is financial Aid verification?
Verification is the process your school uses to confirm that the data reported on your FAFSA form is accurate. If you’re selected for verification, your school will request additional documentation that supports the information you reported. Don’t assume you’re being accused of doing anything wrong.
