What is Pastora used for?
PASTORA® is a dry-flowable granule that controls or suppresses broadleaf and grass weeds in bermudagrass pasture. PASTORA® is mixed in water and applied as a uniform broadcast spray. A spray adjuvant must be used in the spray mix unless otherwise specified on this label.
How long does it take for Pastora to work?
Pastora herbicide is absorbed through the foliage and roots of weeds, rapidly inhibiting their growth. Leaves of susceptible plants appear pale, yellow, or yellow-white from 1 to 3 weeks after application, and the growing point subsequently dies.
Is Pastora a pre emergent?
Pastora controls broad-leaf weeds by pre-emergence and post-emergence activity and grass weeds by post-emergence activity. To get the best results from Pastora, apply it to young, active growing weeds.

How do you control crabgrass in bermuda hay?
Outrider (sulfosulfuron) is an effective herbicide on Johnsongrass found in bermudagrass or bahiagrass pastures and hay meadows. For successful control, Outrider must be applied during active growth that is at least 18 to 24 inches tall and up to the heading stage.
Will Pastora hurt trees?
Will Pastora hurt my young pecan trees? I have some that are one and two years old. We do not recommend applying Pastora Herbicide near pecan trees. It is safe for applications on established Bermudagrass Pastures and Hay Meadows, Bermudagrass Turf (Unimproved Only).
Can you mix Pastora with fertilizer?
Can Pastora be mixed and applied with fertilizer? Yes, but it depends on several factors and you need to read the label for specific instructions regarding the best way to do this.
How do you get rid of crabgrass in hay field?
Apply in a tank mix with 2.5 to 4.1 oz ai/A glyphosate for best results. Treat crabgrass before it exceeds 2 inches in height. Do not apply more than 2.5 oz of Pastora/A per year. No grazing or hay harvest restrictions.
Does prowl need to be watered in?
Water the sprayed area with 2 inches of water from a water hose or a sprinkler irrigation system if you don’t expect rain for a day or two to help transfer the Prowl herbicide to the crabgrass root system. You can also till the sprayed area to a depth of 4 inches with a mechanical tiller to incorporate the herbicide.
