Most students offered admission to Hofstra have completed a rigorous college preparatory curriculum in high school with a solid average.

Hofstra does have a great amount of security, making it much safer on campus. There is also a twenty four hour bus that takes students to the train station, making it a safer travel option than walking. Even with the problems involving the surrounding area, I still feel safe on campus.
