Mostly, yes – you can use your Argos Card to buy groceries, Tu Clothing, Homewares, Electronics – basically anything that’s stocked in Sainsbury’s and Sainsbury’s Local stores.
Can I use my Argos Card at Homebase?
Argos/Homebase ‘A Cards’ These dual-use Homebase/Argos gift cards were issued by Homebase’s former owners Home Retail Group, and Wesfarmers are no longer honouring them. However, they can still be spent at Argos. If you’ve one of these gift cards and want to spend it at Homebase, sadly there’s not a lot you can do.
Can I use my Argos store card in Currys?
The card can only be used in Argos stores to purchase goods of whatever value. Applying for the card is not a hassle at all, as this can be done online, via phone or at the till. There are several payment plans that come with owning the Argos card.

Can I buy cigarettes in Sainsbury’s with my Argos card?
Can I use my Argos card to buy cigarettes in Sainsburys? You can’t use your Argos Card to shop online at Sainsburys.co.uk or when using the Sainsbury’s app. There are also a few places within Sainsbury’s where you can’t use your Argos Card; Sainsbury’s in-store Travel Bureaux. In-store Lloyds Pharmacies.
Does my Argos credit card have a PIN number?
You just need to make sure the card number starts with 10000 and you’ve got a 4-digit security PIN. If your card doesn’t have a 4-digit PIN, you can’t use it online but you can still use it in-store.
Can I withdraw cash from my Argos card?
Yes, but remember that you will be charged interest from the date the withdrawal appears on your account, as well as an additional withdrawal fee (3% or £3, whichever is greater).
