- 1 Measure. In the same graduated container.
- 2 Mix. Mix the measured resin and hardener in a clean container.
- 3 Pour, Do Not Wait! Pour as soon as thoroughly mixed.
- 4 De-gas.
- 5 Cure.
- 6 Clean-up.
How thick can you pour EnviroTex Lite?
Don’t apply Envirotex Lite thicker than 1/8 of an inch. To thick of a coating can overheat, steam, crack and turn yellow.
Is EnviroTex Lite epoxy self leveling?
Envirotex Lite is self-leveling but if it needs a little help you can use a clean stir-stick to distribute to the ends or corners. Wait for about 15 minutes to give air bubbles a chance to rise. The bubbles are easy to remove with a small torch or lighter.
Does EnviroTex Lite turn yellow?

Yes, you can tint Envirotex. I use a drop or two of cheap acrylic craft paint per ounce of mixed Envirotex. That leaves the “water” colored a bit, but still pretty clear. It will harden just fine.
How do I make sure resin doesn’t turn yellow?
A UV stabilizing agent can be added to epoxy resin formulas to mitigate these effects. UV stabilizers are very effective at preventing gloss loss, de-lamination, cracking and chalking, but they merely delay discoloration. In other words, yellowing is still inevitable with a UV stabilizer alone.
