What is 2x drizzle?
The Drizzle algorithm produces a blank image that is several times the size of the original images being stacked. With 2x Drizzle for example, the blank image is two times as large in number of pixels in both directions (width and height).
Does Deep Sky Stacker Debayer?
Deep Sky Stacker does not debayer RAW8 (it works with RAW16). This can be addressed by using the debayer functionality in PIPP.

What is a good score in Deep Sky Stacker?
The numbers range from 3500’s to 6500’s. The better scope shows high numbers in the 6500 range and the other has high numbers in the 4600 range.
What does DEbayer mean?
The DeBayer filter is used to convert raw image data into an RGB image. In a raw color image, every pixel represents a value for one basic color, instead of three as is the case for an RGB image. In order to get a real color image, the two missing colors have to be interpolated. This is exactly what this filter does.
How many light frames should I take?
In practical terms it means that when doing untracked astrophotography no fewer than 100 light frames should be taken. For my images i went as far as using 750 light frames obtained during multiple sessions for some of the images.
