Where is escambron Beach?
Balneario El Escambron is a little beach, just outside of Old San Juan, that is part of the Blue Flag beach program. It is located in Puerta de Tierra section of town, next to the old Normandie Hotel and the Parque Sixto Escobar. Escambron is described by many as a nice family-friendly beach.

Next to the beach is “Parque del Tercer Milenio” which has a walking and running track and a baseball park. The beach is located at the entrance to Old San Juan and can be reached by public transport. Parking is $5 and is open from 8:30 a.m. at 5:00 p.m.

Is Condado Lagoon clean?
The water is clean, but since it’s deeper the visibility is low. There are manatees living in the lagoon. While swimming in the lagoon, you will sharing space with other swimmers, paddle boats, and kayaks. There are no motorized craft in the lagoon.
