How do I help Asari on Illium?
Following the conclusion of The Prodigal mission, you can find an Asari near the Normandy’s dock point, north of the Trading Floor. Speak with her and offer to help her out. You can hand over the locket you found, which is a memento her daughter has for her old boyfriend (now deceased) named Steven.
