Do you get your phones in OCS?
Candidates are authorized to have cellular phones while at OCS. Use of phones is limited by the training schedule and to certain locations.
Do you get Bah during OCS?
You will not be given BAH while in OCS or BOLC 2.
Can you leave base during OCS?
After the first 4 weeks of OCS candidates are eligible for weekend liberty. You have a window of about 18-28 hours where you can leave the base.

Army Officer Training School is held at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Can you talk to family at OCS?
You’ll be able to contact family and friends plenty during OCS… after your first week. Oh yeah… DO NOT have anyone mail you contraband…. period.
Do I need a car for OCS?
You can go out to your car at night times. Not at first, but after a few weeks. So, it behoves you to have a car at OCS. Also a ride for weekend liberty is a plus.
How often do you get paid at OCS?

Candidates are considered at the pay grade of a Sergeant or E-5, “or the highest pay grade achieved if” entering… “directly from current service at a pay grade above E-5.” In other words, there’s no pay cut if you’re a prior enlisted Marine attending OCS. Military pay is disbursed twice a month by direct deposit.
Can you bring a car to OCS?
2. Candidates who bring their own automobiles to OCS may use them on liberty at the staff’s discretion, following a full vehicle inspection. All candidate attire will be inspected prior to, during, and upon return from liberty.
Do you get liberty at OCS?
Liberty happens after the third week at Marine OCS. Typically, it starts sometime Saturday and ends Sunday afternoon. It will repeat every week from now on.
Is OCS harder than basic?
