Is NETGEAR C6300 a good modem?
Speed varied from 150mbps to 1.5 mbps on the down and 2 to 5 on the up. This is the worst modem/router I have ever purchased. The XFINITY tech that came to our house said that there is a firmware issue that Netgear will not take ownership of.

The C6300 is a cable modem/router. Unlike some modem/routers, DSL devices for example, it does not have a “router” only option with a WAN port in the back. You are probably out of luck.
