The Office of Admission awards academic scholarships to our highest achieving admitted students. First-year student awards are based primarily on a combination of grades, ACT or SAT score and curriculum rigor. Meeting minimum GPA and test scores does not guarantee scholarship eligibility.

Does TCU offer full ride scholarships?
TCU First-Year Academic Scholarships The Chancellor’s Scholarship is TCU’s most competitive merit award and includes full tuition for eight semesters. Students who are selected to compete for a Chancellor’s Scholarship will be invited to participate in an interview weekend, which usually takes place in February.
What GPA does TCU require?
TCU has no minimum requirement for GPA or test score to be considered for admission. TCU is test optional for applicants through 2024. (See our Testing Policy.) For the class that entered TCU in Fall 2021, the middle 50 percent scored between 1200 and 1380 on the SAT, or between 28 and 32 on the ACT.
