What happened to the Sun Dome?
The roof partially collapsed under heavy rains in late 1981. Lawsuits swirled over who was at fault for all the design flaws. Reports from the era described the acoustics as “terrible” and the overall fan experience as “chaos.” Eventually, the Sun Dome found its footing.
