The Abode is a single room in a gloomy house, accessed from a boarded up shack in New Tristram, located right behind the Healer.

It’s the wooden door behind the Healer in New Tristram, you can attack it/break it. Go inside with the machines in your inventory. You can only open one of each type in the same game session, unlike the Vault portal that closes after 60 seconds and you can open as many as you can.
